I have been trained by a shearing family with 52 years of experience, have taken a course on Wool Handling and Sheep Shearing in New Zealand and shore with some of the best shearers in the world. I am working continuously to improve my knowledge of shearing and the lamb and wool industries.

I focus on quality: My goal is to leave the fleece in one piece and the skin on the animal! Correct handling ensures minimal stress to the animal. On average, I can shear 10-18 sheep per hour.

I am a part of the American Sheep Industry's Certified Sheep Shearer program, dedicated to improving the quality of U.S. wool clip. I am also listed on ASI's National Shearer Database

I disinfect my blades between jobs and upon request will clean my shearing boards to prevent the spread of disease.
